Effective Date: July 2, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Calmai app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Yuliia Shubina (collectively, the "Application"). Yuliia Shubina is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Most of your data is stored locally on your device (see "Local Data Storage" below). In addition, the Application may automatically collect limited technical information when you use it, including:
This information is used to operate, maintain, and improve the Application.
Your account information and conversation/message history are stored locally on your device and are not stored on the Service Provider's own servers. If you uninstall the Application or clear its data, this locally stored information will be permanently deleted from your device and cannot be recovered by the Service Provider.
To provide AI-powered features, the text you enter into the Application is sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI") for processing, and a response is returned to you within the Application. This means the content of your messages is transmitted to and processed by OpenAI's servers, which may be located outside your country of residence, including in the United States.
OpenAI processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy and API data usage policies, available at https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. As of the effective date of this policy, OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models, in accordance with OpenAI's API data usage policy. You should review OpenAI's policies directly, as they may be updated from time to time.
No personal data is transmitted to OpenAI beyond the text of your messages and the minimum technical information necessary to generate a response (e.g., the request itself). The Service Provider does not control how OpenAI's infrastructure processes or secures this data beyond what OpenAI's own policies describe.
The Application or its third-party SDKs (e.g., analytics providers) may use SDKs, pixels, or similar technologies to support functionality or analytics. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. Because most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the Application's data or uninstalling the Application. For any data the Service Provider does hold (such as data related to your communications with the Service Provider, or aggregated analytics), you may contact the Service Provider at [email protected] to exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
